Ted’s Birthday!

The children had a brilliant day celebrating Ted’s birthday on Friday and it definitely brought our topic to life! The children have been learning about why we celebrate birthdays and how celebrations can change around the world. Here are some photos for you to enjoy…

Learning new sounds!

This week the children have really enjoyed learning new sounds in our phonics lessons. Fred has helped us learn to pronounce our sounds as well as new rhymes to help us learn to form our letters. Fred also covered all of the children in magic ‘sparkle dust’ which turned one of their fingers into magic pens! We then enjoyed using our magic pens to write sounds in the air.

Welcome to Venus class!

We have had a fantastic first couple of weeks and we are really proud of how far the children have come on in such a short space of time. It has been lovely to see so many of the children coming into school with a smile and growing in confidence day by day. Here is our first class photo!
